After being one of the only professional athletes to be at all outspoken on issues of mental health and his own experiences with mental health issues, Demar Derozan had more to say recently. Speaking to Jackie Macmullan on Thursday, Demar spoke on being rich and depressed, saying:
"People say, 'What are you depressed about? You can buy anything you want.'"
He then goes on to say:
"I wish everyone in the world was rich so they would realize money isn't everything."
